I woke up this morning with a terrible headache and a very high fever. My whole body felt completely exhausted, as if a truck had run me over during the night. My wife, worried about my health, immediately suggested calling a doctor for an urgent consultation. However, I flatly refused because I hate hospitals and pills.
I spent several hours lying in bed, suffering in silence while the thermometer kept rising. Every time someone mentioned the word doctor, I responded with a firm refusal. I was convinced that I could cure myself with just rest and plenty of water.
In the afternoon, the room felt too hot and the lack of fresh air worsened my dizziness. With a great deal of effort, I got out of bed and walked slowly toward the balcony. I opened the sliding door and a gentle autumn breeze touched my face. I deeply inhaled the fresh outdoor air and, to my surprise, felt the pressure in my head ease a little.
