Il sole splende sulla bellissima città di Roma. Cammino lentamente tra le strade strette e arrivo in una piazza molto animata. C'è un mercato all'aperto con tantissime persone.

The sun shines on the beautiful city of Rome. I walk slowly through the narrow streets and arrive in a very lively square. There is an open-air market with a lot of people.

Sento i profumi della frutta fresca e delle verdure colorate. Ho molta fame e voglio comprare qualcosa di buono per il pranzo. Mi fermo davanti a un banco pieno di pomodori rossi e arance dolci.

I smell the aromas of fresh fruit and colorful vegetables. I am very hungry and want to buy something good for lunch. I stop in front of a stall full of red tomatoes and sweet oranges.

Un venditore gentile mi guarda e sorride. Lui mi chiede con voce alta cosa desidero comprare. Adesso devo parlare in italiano per ordinare la frutta.

A kind vendor looks at me and smiles. He asks me in a loud voice what I would like to buy. Now I must speak in Italian to order the fruit.
